Where will New York's real party animals celebrate Earth Month? At the Bronx Zoo, of course!
"Party for the Planet,? a special Earth Month celebration, which will run from Saturday, April 4 through Sunday, April 19, as well as on Saturday and Sunday, April 25 and 26.
The featured attractions at the event include a Human Footprint Exhibit, which presents a look at how humans influence the planet, an ?Earth Expo? that will provide information about how to help safeguard the Earth, its environments and all of its inhabitants, as well as a recycled animal kingdom featuring one-of-a-kind animal sculptures created entirely out of found objects.
Kids can also make an Earth Day souvenir during a crafts workshop, help paint an Earth Day mural, watch a live performance by the Wildlife Theater Players and, on Easter weekend only, can participate in egg races, egg hunts and meet Bella, the costumed bunny.
