Monterey Monthly Cleanup at Monterey State Beach (N of Best Western)

Come out and join Save Our Shores for the monthly public beach cleanup at Monterey State Beach (North parking lot). Check-in will be in the parking lot to the North of the Best Western Hotel on the beach in Seaside. Individual and small group volunteers are welcome. Central Texas Motorsports Swap Meet
Date: 2/18/12
The innagural Central Texas Motorsports Swap Meet will take place Saturday, 18 Feb 12 8am-8pm at the Killeen Special Events Center in Killeen, TX. Setup will be Friday, 17 Feb 5pm-10pm and before the event on the 18th. We will post the sign-up forms and the layout at http://www.motorsportsswap.com. There will be 12x30 spaces for $45 and 10x20 spaces for $35 if reserved before Feb 10th. After Feb 10, space rental will increase by $5.00. A table and two chairs will be available for an additional $5. Entry for the public will be $1.00. We have aboout 125 spaces available. Our focus will be on motorsports (dirt, drag, mud, and motorcycle) will other vendors available on a space available basis. Beer and food will be available for purchase. Credit cards will be accepted. SOS Monthly Beach Cleanup at Seabright State Beach

Come out and join Save Our Shores for the monthly public beach cleanup at Seabright State Beach. Check-in will be at the entrance on East Cliff drive across from Mott Ave and the Santa Cruz Natural History Museum. Individual and small group volunteers are welcome. San Lorenzo River Cleanup at Hwy 1
Date: 2/25/12
Come help Save Our Shores clean the San Lorenzo River and prevent trash from being washed down to the Monterey Bay National Marine Sanctuary during the winter rains. We will be cleaning from Highway 1 towards Water St bridge. Check-in will be located at the new San Lorenzo pedestrian bridge just downriver from Highway 1 on Felker St. Felker St dead ends into a culdesac and a short footpath leads right up to the bridge. Felker runs off of Ocean St extension before Ocean St goes under Highway 1. You can also access the foot bridge from the Ross and Petsmart shopping center side. Santa Cruz Monthly Beach Cleanup at Davenport Main Beach

Earth Day Beach Cleanup at Cowell/Main Beach in Downtown Santa Cruz

Come out and join Save Our Shores for the Earth Day beach cleanup at Cowell and Main Beach. Check-in will be at the entrance to Cowell Beach between the Wharf and the Dream Inn. Individual and small group volunteers are welcome. For more information, contact cleanup@saveourshores.org.
Earth Day San Lorenzo River Cleanup at Water Street Bridge
Date: 4/21/12
Save Our Shores will be hosting a San Lorenzo River Cleanup in honor of Earth Day. Volunteers will be cleaning the river from Water St Bridge back towards Highway 1. Check-in table will be located in San Lorenzo Park right next to the pedestrian path that goes under Water St Bridge (near Water St Bridge bus stop). All ages are welcome and smaller children can work up along the levee bike path. All participants must sign a waiver form and we will need a parent signature on waivers for those under 18.
