Billboard Mag Calls for Greenies to Share Tips

Stephanie Valera, March 04, 2010

From Radiohead to Jack Johnson, music stars are making waves and making headlines for greening their tours, and their lives. Now, music magazine Billboard wants the spotlight on music fans.

In honor of the 40th anniversary of Earth Day on April, Billboard will be publishing its annual Green Issue with a special section spotlighting user-generated tips and ideas on ways fans and artists can make the music industry more green and eco-friendly in 2010.

Know a way to make touring more green? Have a tip for lessening music festivals' carbon footprint? Got a cool idea for recycling merch? Fans can submit their ideas to Billboad and have the opportunity to be featured in the magazine, and on the website Billboard.com in April.

To submit your green music idea, visit Billboard.com here.
